The day has come,
the stage is set.
The deal we made
I did not forget.
My skills refined,
my mind is sharp,
The will of the vicar
now is not afar.
Seventeen ninety-three,
the king sleeps in chains
as his vermin rave free.
Xelvellol calls me along
while he unlocks the gate
to the world above
Xelvellol:
“Follow me close, don’t lag behind,
the eyes of your world must not see you or I”
He opens the door.
I hold no fear.
I think of my mother,
and I know that she is near.
We sprint to the shadows,
out of sight.
Xelvellol raises his eyes
as his hands clasp together
and aim to the sky.
His fateful words spoken on high:
Xelvellol:
“Krazh nakiir, Vyakzkaa grøli”
Lighting erupts
and the ground starts to shake.
His eyes start to glow
with a grin on his face.
I feel as though
I have made a mistake.
A crowd starts to form,
their eyes matching His.
Xelvellol:
“Beware them not,
they’re captured within.
Possessed for you,
for the sake of ease.
The time is now,
and you know where I’ll be.”
Paris, fully entranced.
The minions take me to King Louis.
His eyes like those of malice,
like those of Father’s.
The gaze of a man
I’d be lucky to kill,
failing at planting fear in me.
A means to an end,
is all that I see.
My mother waits on the other side.
Peace, home, harmony.
I am coming mother.
But first, the Guillotine beckons for me…
King Louis XVI: Who are you, you monster?
Bastien: You. Be silent. You are my subject now, and you will follow me.
Louis: So be it.
(Bastien leads Louis XVI to the guillotine. Once the execution begins, Xelvellol begins his Royal Blood Ritual, merging the gap between the Ebon Vale and Earth. Once the King’s head falls to the ground, the Ebon Vale has become one with the Earth)
Xelvellol: Bastien my child, witness the glory of the Ebon Vale!
Bastien: Xelvellol, this horror is nothing like what you told me would happen!
Xelvellol: Boy, do not test me, this is everything I told you to expect!
Bastien: Everything to expect? This is everything I expected not to happen!
Xelvellol: Be gone with you!
(Xelvellol fulfills his end of the deal, and sends Bastien to the Ebon Vale)
I awake
to the soft kiss of crisp breeze.
No marks upon my hand,
no pain within my heart.
My Malediction has finally set me free.
I know that she is here,
wherever I may be.
A moment more,
my mother.
I am on my way to thee…
Wraithborn is a black metal/death metal duo, telling the story of a nightmarish world through
music.
“Wraithborn’s first album in the saga of the Ebon Vale is supernaturally horrifying, technically sound, symphonically creative, and narratively epic. This is one Hell of an album. 9.8/10” — Midnight Music Reviews...more

The Netherlands black metal masters return with a bombastic and symphonic masterpiece, taking on the Frankensteins' monster tale with their own sadistic twist.
Razor sharp guitars and machine gun blast beats mix perfectly with synths to create something beautifully melancholic and horrific. Abyssius Murkraken

Литоургиiа réussit l'impensable : faire entrer le black metal dans l'église orthodoxe.

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
